About Alexandra Garcia

Alexandra's artistic approach was born from her experience as an art therapist, a practice which allowed her to plumb the depths of the human soul. Today, she explores the same territories by questioning the material, clay, a prima materia which lends itself to all metamorphoses. In a great economy of means, slowly, she seeks to capture the passages, the tensions and the harmonies which translate the living in perpetual evolution. Alexandra shares a studio in the heart of the lively and collaborative historic district of Arles, with three other artists. It is a space conducive to exchange and emulation where material and ideas meet in a quest for harmony.
